E- “Il tuo personaggio è molto interessato alla progressione, tanto da lavorare per tutto il film alla ricerca della giusta consistenza per la pelle degli animali. Pensi che Aaryan avrebbe dovuto concentrarsi di più non solo sugli animali ma soprattutto sulla valutazione reale, quindi Virginia (Alicia Vikander) e non fare altro?”
H- Forse, ma penso che fosse concentrato su questo. Penso che semplicemente non fosse pronto per un’impossibilità del genere.
E- “Sì, e poi penso che volesse qualcosa di suo…”
H- -Sì, esattamente. Penso che fosse quello-
E- “Cosa ti ha fatto dire “Sì, voglio unirmi a questo progetto”?”
H- Era una sceneggiatura fantastica, così originale. E’ sempre il punto di partenza per me.
Poi ho visto il lavoro di Fleur, i suoi video musicali e cortometraggi, e sono rimasto sbalordito. È una visionaria. È una regista straordinaria, quindi ero più che felice di salire a bordo.
E- “Quanto è stato importante creare questa dinamica a tre con tutte le tue colleghe?”
H- È stato essenziale, davvero, perché è per lo più un lavoro a tre. Sono più che felice di dire quanto è stato meraviglioso lavorare con loro. Ho imparato molto e sai, non è mai scontato dire che sarà così, ma in questo caso sono felice di dirlo.
E- “Ti piacerebbe lavorare con loro su altri progetti?”
H- Assolutamente.
E- E per quanto riguarda i film distopici, ti piacerebbe fare cose del genere o vorresti fare altri progetti?
H- Questo è sempre il mio obiettivo: che il prossimo progetto sia molto diverso da quello che ho fatto prima, quindi, sì, è sempre ciò a cui aspiro.

E- “Your character is very interested in progression, so much so that he works throughout the film to find the right texture for the skin of the animals. Do you think Aaryan should have focused more not only on the animals but above all on the real evaluation, so Virginia (Alicia Vikander) and not do anything else?”
H- Maybe, but I think he was focused on that. I think he just wasn’t ready for such an impossibility.
E- “Yes, and then I think he wanted something of his own…”
H- -Yes, exactly. I think that was-
E- “What made you say, ‘Yes, I want to join this project’?”
H- It was such a great script, so original. That’s always the starting point for me.
Then I saw Fleur’s work, her music videos and short films, and I was blown away. She’s a visionary. She’s an amazing director, so I was more than happy to come on board.
E- “How important was it to create this three-way dynamic with all your co-stars?”
H- It was essential, really, because it’s mostly a three-way thing. I’m more than happy to say how wonderful it was to work with them. I learned a lot and you know, it’s never a given that it’s going to be like that, but in this case I’m happy to say it.
E- “Would you like to work with them on other projects?”
H- Absolutely.
E- And in terms of dystopian films, would you like to do stuff like that or would you like to do other projects?
H- That’s always my goal: for the next project to be very different from what I’ve done before, so, yeah, that’s always what I aspire to.
